Covid 19 Update

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT DP WORLD SAINT JOHN REMAINS OPERATIONAL FOR ALL LAND AND VESSEL SIDE OPERATIONS AT THIS TIME.

EXTRA MEASURES ARE BEING TAKEN AT OUR GATE TO LIMIT ANY POTENTIAL EXPOSURE OF ILLNESS TO OUR STAFF THROUGH INCREASED SANITIZATION AND CLEANING EFFORTS ON SITE, AND THE PROCESS OF HANDLING DOCUMENTS HAS BEEN REVISED TO LIMIT CONTACT.

ALL VISITORS AT OUR GATE WILL BE REFUSED ENTRY IF THEY HAVE TRAVELED INTERNATIONALLY (INCLUDING THE USA) AND HAVE RETURNED ON OR AFTER MARCH 14, 2020. Berth Window: Saturday 0800 - Tuesday 2300 (no vessel work available between 2300 hrs and 0800 hrs).

ERD Rail: 5 days prior prior (basis Sat berth window, Monday would be the 1st day)

ERD Truck Gate: 3 days prior

 

Cutoff: Friday 1630 hrs

 

Exports:

  • Provisional Load List provided by Friday 1200 HRS Atlantic Standard Time
  • Final Load List provided by Friday 1600 HRS Atlantic Standard Time. No changes accepted after final load list

Imports:

  • All rail destinations must be declared by Thursday 1600 HRS AST. No changes after final doc cutoff at 1600 HRS Friday.

 

We've been receiving export containers by rail with limited information. Please ensure a pre-advise is provided to traffic@dpworldsaintjohn.com. Information required:

Through partnerships with CN Railways, Pan Am Railways and NB Southern Railways, Saint John provides daily rail connections to Eastern and Central Canada, US Midwest and North East. Currently, the terminal has just under 6,000 feet rail to support intermodal.

The Port will benefit from an investment of 250 million dollars over the next 5 years as part of an extensive modernization program. This will add capacity, expand capabilities and improve overall efficiency of terminal services to handle vessels of 10,000 TEUs capacity and 12,000 feet of rail.

Port Saint John is Eastern Canada’s largest port by volume and has a diverse cargo base, handling an average of 28 million metric tonnes of cargo annually, including dry and liquid bulks, break bulk, and containers.
